Mangaka: Akira Amano Title: Tsuna’s Pride Rating: 7.5/10
Synopsis: Hitman Reborn starts off with Enma being pwned by his own power (see above picture) and Yamamoto and Gokudera look on in heightened anticipation and dread. Will Enma make it? Will the Tenth be okay? Is this…..the end?! Luckily, we have the chibi pundit, Reborn, to calm us all down with his cute little nonchalant self. Then, we have a flashback of….the future o.O with Spammer and Tsuna discussing an upgrade to Tsuna’s Vongola Gear. The chapter quickly moves back to all the action (it’s not a fight guys…Tsuna is trying to save someone here :|) where the young Vongola prepares to unleash his….!! (goes to next page) *GASP!* (read the chapter <- some cool stuff right there…) Tsuna has finally unleashed the unleashable but despite how awesome it is we still don’t know if Enma will make it!
Tsuna is still determined to save him no matter what and says that his pride is at stake. As Yamamoto and Gokudera’s hearts palpitate irregularly (and as Hibari’s heart matches my heartbeat lool) Enma, who begins to disintegrate, silently ponders what Tsuna’s pride is. As the intensity of the BEAST dies down, the large room is turned into a mini-inferno and Tsuna’s companions rush to his side. However, Enma is nowhere to be seen in the fiery furnace…what happened to happily ever after? 😦 At the end of the chapter, amidst the rising smoke, Tsuna finally reveals what his pride is……
Next Chapter: A wrap up of this chapter…but I’m actually hoping for an epic ‘Mist’ battle which will lead to the gruesome demise of the menstruating Daemon….*wide eyed stare*
Best Character: TSUNA! He was absolutely electrifying (and then very sweet) in this chapter. Am I falling for him? ……No.
Worst Character: Everyone did well this week.
Likes: Even though there was no Mukuro vs Daemon this week, I was very pleased with this chapter. Tsuna was truly heroic and really pushed himself to save his friend. Also, he was very forgiving (he’s such a sweetheart) and did not blame Enma for being manipulated by….the Daemon (<- must…..die :|) This gave the chapter a sort of biblical analogy in that Tsuna kind of gave off some Christ-like vibes. Regardless of the horrible past you’ve led, Tsuna will always try his best to save you….and the entire world. I also liked the tiny little box in which they managed to squeeze in Hibari and the fact that he taught Tsuna about pride. Maybe I should have rated this chapter 8/10? :S
Dislikes: Everything was cool actually. Nothing to complain about here…
More Chapter Ratings:
Tempe§ta: 6.5/10 – Well this week was good. I have to say I enjoyed the flashback which was actually the future lol *smh*- only this series. The new X Burner was comparable to a Kamehameha (DBZ ref.) More and more, Tsuna shows the values of Vongola Primo. I am curious to see what will transpire next seeing that Tsuna has declared his “pride” and Enma has “technically” lost the fight…we all know Vendice don’t care. In other news…WE WANNA SEE THE MIST BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
§kyLion: 9/10 – I actually liked this chapter. It was pretty cool especially now that Tsuna’s “weakness” of having to fire flames backwards is gone. Nice way to end a fight too. Can’t wait till Next Week 😀
AP§: 8.5/10 – I liked the new X Burner. The ending was good too. Tsuna finding his pride makes me wonder what’s gonna happen when he meets Spade (depending on how his fight with Mukuro turns out that is…)
Random Hot Topic: So, I’m guessing after all the drama between Vongola and Simon, KHR is gonna go all One Piece on us with a dramatic rescue of Ryohei and company from the Vendicare (Vendice) prison? :O What say you? Fighting the Vendice would be cool. Tsuna’s pride is still at stake after all…
