Mangaka: Tite Kubo Title: Load Rating: 5.5/10
Synopsis: Clorox, sorry Bleach continues this week with a little showdown between Tsuki-sexy-sama and Xcution. Yukio has sheltered Ichigo in his video game power thingy but Tsuki-sama wonders why Yukio didn’t lock him away instead. Riruka then appears out of nowhere with a mysterious Love Gun aimed at Tsuki-sama from behind. Not wanting to draw attention to himself from the oh-so-vigilant homosapiens (<- since when they’re so sharp?) he decides to leave (I don’t think he actually cares about attracting people’s attention). Ginjo tells Yukio to help Ichigo with his training and his reaction creates a bit of comic relief for the chapter. Ichigo then learns that he will be fighting someone way more powerful than Jackie this time around…(read the chapter). In other news, Orihime-chan visits Ishida at the hospital and they have a little chat about Tsukishima and his powers. She leaves the hospital and meets with Sado-kun who tells her that her powers are needed for the next stage of Ichigo’s training. WWID – What will Ishida do? 😐
Likes: Yukio gains 5 cool points for being, well, cool and for saying: Sorry to disappoint….. Can we say, Staaaarkk! One of the most epic moments in Bleach (You know, when Stark shows his hand to Shunsui Kyoraku and says: Sorry to disappoint, I’m the primera.
Dislikes: For some reason I sometimes cannot stand Ichigo. I know he cares about his friends and wants to protect them but I also think he’s a bit obsessed with power and with taking care of everything by himself. Then again, who isn’t like that, right? I can’t say that I like where this arc is going so far (cuz I have no idea where this is going really) Must be hard to be a mangaka…. However, I am interested in seeing where this is going. This chapter was just okay. I read it and forgot about it in a few seconds. That’s not a very good sign. I can’t think of anything else to critique. I guess that’s because there’s nothing much to speak about since nothing noteworthy really happened.

mu§e: 5/10 – Boring. I wasn’t impressed. Continuous repeat of crap. I understand it’s necessary to learn the power properties of each member of that little group but can’t we do it in a way that switches things up a little bit? It’s basically like this: Ichigo fights group member, gains insane power up, moves on and fights the next one. Everyone is impressed by his awesome raging power. Oh wow. Impressive. Also…I get the point that Tsuki-sama’s power is weird…we don’t need Ishida and Orihime giving random dark glares 🙂
je§ter: Bleach used to be one of my favourite anime and eventually manga of all time. Now, however, it has truly deteriorated… The whole thing should’ve ended with Aizen I think; meaning that battle should’ve been done differently (why must the epicness only last seconds?)! So, the whole point of Bleach was that Ichigo could see ghosts and became a shinigami…now he can do neither. I now, sadly, need a reason to maintain interest in the series, and fast.
Random Hot Topic: Ulquiorra and Orihime!!! My favourite pairing EVER! Oh how I wish Kubo-sama would bring him back and let him make beautiful babies with Orihime-chan. They’d make the most interesting couple. Orihime and her ditsy/slightly air headed but super friendly ways and Ulquiorra’s nonchalant, dangerous, cold and SEXY demeanor. mu§e is gonna kill me for this. She is hopelessly in love with Ulqui-sama. I miss him a lot though. I don’t think he ‘loved’ Orihime per se but there was definitely a great deal of interest. When he was disintegrating into nothingness he was reaching for her….I nearly cried when I saw that 😦 Maybe he’ll come back as a human with a heart or something? 😀 Which pairing do you like in Bleach?
Thank God for Ulqui-Hime fan art! ❤
