Mangaka: Eiichiro Oda Title: I Already Knew Rating: 7/10
Synopsis: The Neptune Brothers are fighting with the New Fishman Pirates. Princess Shirahoshi confirms the rumours of her insufferable fatuity by mistaking her mammoth king trident of a father for a giant balloon. She falls for the obvious trap. Anyway, we soon see the real King Neptune who is still bound and we also discover that his sons have lost. Miserably. Vander Decken uses his Mato Mato curse to send Noah’s Ark, which is half the size of Fishman Island, to kill…everyone. Madame Shirley (Arlong’s younger sister lool) pops out of nowhere and reveals that Luffy is the one who would destroy Fishman Island. Hodi Jones also reveals that he is the one who killed Shirahoshi’s mother! *Gasp* No surprises there. Moving right along, the fortune teller mermaid pisses Hodi off so he shoots her with his water gun-finger. The leader of the New Fishman Pirates then calls out all his bishes. All one hundred thousand of them. All is lost! Mugiwara!! Doko da?!!
Likes: Nothing stood out that is worthy of mention. Hey, it was better than last week’s chap right? I guess Shirahoshi’s bad eyesight and general dunce-ness was supposed to evoke some sort of hilarity? 😐 So there’s a giant boat headed Shirahoshi’s way and Hodi is backed by thousands upon thousands of allies. A semi decent build up for something major it seems. Where are the Straw Hat Pirates and what happened to Zorro and company? The suspense! xD
Dislikes: What is the point of Jinbei really? He was probably the weakest and most uninteresting Shichibukai. He quit the Shichibukai? No. The Shichibukai quit him. Does he have a real plan or something? He has to. I mean, what was the point of going for Shirahoshi’s father when he is being guarded by Jinbei and his gang? Was he going to placate them with candy? Candy’s good and all but I doubt that would have worked. He has got himself all worked up and bloodied for nothing and now he’s all tied up and shit. He’s so un-cool. Ugh. I hope he dies in this arc. Also, I don’t like any of these villains in this arc. They’re more annoying, eccentric, childish and unimpressive than the usual villains that pop up in One Piece. When you consider guys like Crocodile, Arlong, Enel, Magellan, Lucci and his bishes, The Admirals etc, these guys in Fishman Island full of shit (so far) and should be on PBS Kids or something.

mu§e: 7/10 – Decent chapter. I dunno. Although it had quite a few things going on in it, none of them really struck me or made me do anything more than raise my eyebrow in a kinda “really? wtf?” moment. Like Shirahoshi’s stupidity….I don’t even want to get into that. How do you mistake your father, who you know btw, for ilke…some weird bubble block thing? Also, Vander Decken’s insanity..throwing an entire ancient ship at Shirahoshi…psychotic? yes. Impressive? no. More about Shirahoshi’s stupidity…she knew who killed her mum and stayed quiet…because? I don’t care what reason they come up with. I hope they take her to the pyre and make fish stew out of her. Ok, maybe not…but still…I don’t get it. I dunno. I didn’t like this chapter very much.
Answer The Damned Question: You people never answer any questions, granted some of them are dumb and silly like the following question (lol) but just give it a go okay? So! Which character would shock you more if Oda revealed that they were married, had children, had girlfriends, boyfriends or casual “comfort” friends? I mean, Monkey D. Dragon and Gold D. Roger had kids right? Weren’t you surprised when Hajime Saito from Rurouni Kenshin revealed that he had a wife? I bet you didn’t know that this badass below is married. To moi! fufufufu. Answer Away! Feel free to discuss your thoughts on this particular chapter as well.
