Mangaka: Tite Kubo Title: Why Me Sad Rating: 7.5/10
Synopsis: Sigh… Why so disappointing? Bleach has just been getting hard to read again. After a “twist” that really took a piss on the epicness of last week’s chapter we have…Chapter 462: Why Me Sad. Hmm…sounds like something Grimlock would say… “Me Grimlock not understand this eye water!” :S
I honestly hope something interesting is about to happen, because I’m tired of doing this late due to lack of inspiration. In this release, Michael Jackson and the Cerebral Custodian appear again in their respective capacities. When Chad and drugged-up, I mean teary-eyed Orihime break on the scene, they are surprised to see everyone standing on Ichigo’s side. Tsukishima now goes all psycho-maniac and starts saying things that forms mental stains on their squeaky clean brains and they start to have nervous breakdowns while two of the coolest middle-aged Shinigami ever pop up to knock out the confused teens. The last thing worth mentioning would be that the other Fullbringers appear. This is a short one… I guess it’s that kinda chapter.
Likes: Honestly, I’m not sure. I guess Ginjo still looks cool still and has started building his team of back-up dancers for their Thriller performance. Hopefully that should be next week and with the number of Captains and Lieutenants I see around…epicness? Maybe? Please? Oh and there is one brief moment of comedy thanks to Isshin and Kisuke…gotta love those old dudes; they can keep this thing going by themselves.
Dislikes: Pretty much everything else is dull once again. Orihime is being her old, Arrancar Arc self again (minus Ulquiorra to have bizarre conversations with). She and Chad also seem to have gotten a bit daft since their heads were scrubbed out as they don’t even seem the least bit shocked to see Ichigo in Shinigami clothes, holding Zangetsu again. Ginjo’s new “stolen-powers” form doesn’t really seem to have done much more than make him a little quick on his feet and sturdy. But then how could he not be sturdier with a literal exoskeleton?
In the meantime I’m going to sedate myself and drown my disappointment. Here’s to a better chapter this week! *grabs rum bottle* *cling* *gulp-gulp-gulp* *pass-out*
More Chapter Ratings:
mu§e: 6.5/10 – I was disappointed. First of all. Too much talking. Too much. Stop. About things that hardly matter too. Then..Tsuki-sama went from sexy to creepy in 0.5 seconds. It was just the weirdest thing and I didn’t like the feel of it at alllll. *shudder*. I dunno in general I didn’t like the feel of the entire chapter. My only hope? Isshin will finally pull out his sword and do an epic real life gangsta fight along with Urahara…maybe some bankais here and there 😛
Random Mental Impulse:
Well…it looks like school’s started/starting for almost everyone now huh. Time to get the ATM card and go buy some books, pens, papers (or binder sheets as preferred by some institutions). Also time to go get a confidante, re-hydration salts, and a transfusion for all the upcoming blood sweat and tears! How many vow each year to be better than they were last year? How many say “I’ll read less manga!” “I’ll only watch one anime series this season!” or make other such bold proclamations? Quit foolin’ yerself! You know you’re gonna read the manga and watch every anime with jiggling boobs and/or massive explosions! Still…I guess it’s good to have something to aspire to. Good luck to everyone as they begin their new semesters; whether the torture is just beginning or you’re being anally raped by your courses for the millionth time.
This time the random image has nothing to do with Bleach and that’s probably a good thing. There’s nothing epic to look for right now on that front… But since I went with a “how much it sucks that summer’s over and school is starting” theme, I decided that nothing could capture the essence of that quite as well as having Sephiroth for a geography teacher; even his pointer-stick-thingy is ridiculously long! That poor, poor child…he has no idea what’s about to happen…
